It’s been two years since the release of my “31 Must See
Modern Horror Films” here at Blood Brothers and since then I have received all
kinds of people responded to it with suggestions for films that should have
made the list. Well, I like my list and I’m sticking to it. Yet, it’s hard to
discount some of the great horror films that have scared their way into our
hearts since 1990. The only solution? I needed to list “31 MORE Must See Modern
Horror Films.” The list is as follows, in no particular order. I’m sure there
is still going to be some I’ve missed (or haven’t seen) so if you feel I missed
out, feel free to comment, message, or email us your suggestions! Maybe we’ll
do another list next year…
- Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight
- Ginger Snaps
- Last House On The Left (Remake)
- Lovely Molly
- Frontier(s)
- 30 Days Of Night
- Bedevilled
- The Children
- The Conjuring
- Dagon
- Dead Snow
- The Eye (Original)
- The Frighteners
- Pulse
- Shutter (Original)
- Ringu
- Hellraiser: Inferno
- The Horde
- I Saw The Devil
- In The Mouth Of Madness
- Jeepers Creepers
- Kidnapped
- Orphan
- Pontypool
- Wolf Creek
- Black Water
- Sinister
- Splinter
- Stake Land
- People Under The Stairs
- Frailty
There you go. 31 more must see modern horror films for your Halloween delight! Like I said above, feel free to comment if you feel I added one that shouldn't be on the list or I need to add one that I missed out on.

Have only see a few of these. I really need to get on the stick.
ReplyDeleteNot all of them are "great" films overall, but there is usually one element that is done so well that it made the list. "Splinter" for example. Not a great film with hit or miss acting, but the monster in it is so ridiculously cool that it had to make the list.
DeleteI saw the devil was so crazy and intense.
